The Idaho Division of Human Resources (DHR) is seeking a Human Resource Business Partner III. This announcement will be used to fill a classified position located at the Department of Health and Welfare (DHW) in Boise, ID. This position will provide support for DHW and will work collaboratively with the Idaho Division of Human Resources. About the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare (DHW): Dedicated to strengthening the health, safety, and independence of Idahoans. The Department of Health and Welfare's (DHW) primary role in the community is to provide services and oversight to promote healthy people, safe children, and stable families. DHW accomplishes this through several core functions, including: Administering state and federal public assistance and health coverage programs, which includes Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (Food Stamps) and Medicaid; Providing direct-care services for certain disadvantaged or underserved populations; Protecting children and vulnerable adults; Licensing various types of care facilities; Promoting healthy lifestyles; and identifying and reducing public health risks. Summary: Performs a full range of advanced professional human resource services in leave administration, medical accommodations, classification, compensation, recruitment, training, policy and procedure, employee relations and performance management. This position may provide support to multiple agencies. Responsibilities: + Leading processes and resources within area(s) of expertise such as employee relations, civil rights, recruitment, classification and/or compensation + Developing, recommending changes and providing guidance on interpretation and application of policies and procedures + Completing complex analyses of HR data to identify key trends and recommends changes to improve performance of operations + Collaborating with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention + Performing job analyses and making recommendations for organizational structure changes + Providing advice and guidan To view full details and how to apply, please login or create a Job Seeker account
