Position: Regional Sales Manager

We are seeking an entrepreneurial-minded individual to join our sales team for a leading engineered wood supplier. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving growth by supporting distributor partners and expanding our presence in the market.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Develop and support distributor partners by identifying new business opportunities

and aiding their sales efforts.

Travel extensively throughout the region with distributor team members to meet with current and prospective customers.

Keep distributor partners well-informed about new product offerings, launches, and collections, ensuring they have the necessary tools to succeed.

Lead ongoing training sessions with key distributor team members, acting as the subject matter expert and ensuring they stay up-to-date on product knowledge.

Proactively seek out and identify new business opportunities in the market, targeting both dealers and end-users.

Strategize and develop plans to capture and grow critical accounts, driving long-term partnerships.

Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, products, and the competitive landscape to guide business decisions.

Take initiative in generating your own leads, setting appointments, and cultivating a new client base.

Consistently meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals, driving revenue growth and market share.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience.

Minimum of 3+ years of success in B2B sales, preferably within the flooring industry (hard surface experience is a plus).

Demonstrated ability to build rapport, foster trusted relationships, and think creatively to grow business opportunities.

Strong problem-solving skills, with a proven track record of developing strategic solutions and negotiating successfully.

Confident in delivering impactful presentations and engaging with prospects in person and over the phone.

Solid working knowledge of MS Office and CRM software.

Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership abilities.

Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, with flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.

Strong business acumen and professional presence, with a focus on delivering high-quality customer experiences.

Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.

Compensation:

Salary is $85,000 - $90,000 + uncapped commission structure
