Pay:

$150,000 - $160,000 per year, dependent on experience and education

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT Senior Director to lead our IT department and ensure the smooth functioning of our technology infrastructure. As the IT Senior Director, you will be responsible for managing IT operations, implementing technological solutions, and driving innovation.

MassCEC currently has a primarily outsourced IT service model. As the IT Senior Director, you will be asked to evaluate MassCEC’s current service model and propose changes to support MassCEC’s business goals, increase user satisfaction and minimize security risks.

The IT Senior Director is a key member of MassCEC’s Corporate Division, reporting to the Chief Operating Officer. It is expected that the ideal candidate will provide technology leadership and be able to influence the technology path for MassCEC especially as it relates to new applications, platforms and security. The IT Senior Director will be responsible for managing a team of support professionals and external technology partners.

Job Duties

Develop and execute the company’s IT strategy in alignment with business goals

Manage and maintain the company’s technology infrastructure and data systems, including hardware, software, and network systems.

Oversee IT operations, including system administration, network security, and help desk support.

Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations.

Manage vendor relationships and contracts for IT products and services.

Develop and implement all IT policies and standard operating procedures

Lead and mentor the IT team, providing guidance and support in their professional development.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align IT initiatives with business needs.

Ensure reported issues are resolved in a timely manner.

Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, making recommendations for technology adoption.

Prepare and manage financial budgets and performance reports.

Position Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in technology, computer science, information systems, finance, business or related field required;

MBA or relevant master’s degree preferred

PMP – Project Management Professional

CISSP or CISM

ITIL or CISA certification a plus.

Experience

Five or more years of progressive IT experience, including experience managing staff and third-party providers

Experience and knowledge with technology infrastructure and business applications including the following:

Windows server environment

Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy

Microsoft Azure

Amazon AWS and Route 53

Office 365 including Exchange online, SharePoint online and Teams

LAN/WAN architecture including security

Microsoft CRM and GP

Cloud technologies and integrations

Salesforce or similar CRM systems

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Demonstrated ability to lead a team of technical staff, to work with the Executive Management of an organization, and to manage multiple concurrent projects

Systems-level thinking with the ability to solve problems and build scalable solutions

Sound working knowledge of IT operations, systems, and developments

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong customer service/stakeholder engagement orientation

Strong project management, organizational and time management skills

Excellent problem-solving, analytical and evaluative skills

Comfort working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
