Overview of the Human Resources Generalist Role:Oversee benefits administration, answer all employee benefits-related questionsBenefits administration includes: FMLA, tuition remittance and reimbursement programs, short-term and long-term disability, unemployment, and worker's compensationSet up new hires in system, lead new hire onboardingAssist with open enrollment period and wellness screeningsProcess terminations and HR reports
Preferred Qualifications for the Human Resources Generalist:2+ years of Human Resources experienceAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources is a plus!Intermediate Microsoft Excel skillsThrough knowledge of labor and employment lawsExcellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skillsHands-on problem solving skills
