Description

Coordinate the department's day-to-day functions to meet the objectives of the area, department, and District while serving as the assistant to all three Executive Directors.Serve as the liaison between the Executive Directors and other departmental leadership, providing information and instruction relating to the department's daily operations.Organize and maintain routine office work, provide work direction for clerical staff, and make arrangements for appointments, conferences, interviews, and travel.Perform administrative duties, including maintaining the department filing system, processing routine correspondence, placing and receiving telephone calls and recorded messages, typing documents and correspondence, and ordering and maintaining supplies.Generate requisitions for supplies and services as needed.Maintain files on vendors, contracts, expenditures, payroll, and equipment distribution.Ensure the proper processing of all district forms and adherence to District Policy.Provide regular feedback to the Executive Directors regarding the status of projects needs/concerns of department headsFoster a collaborative working and learning environment.Performs all other tasks and duties as assigned.Qualifications

Accredited High School Diploma or equivalent (U.S.A. equivalency) required.Associate degree from an accredited university (U.S.A. equivalency) or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.Five years of directly related experience (Dallas ISD Campus and or Central Office experience is preferred).Ability in M.S. Office suite, proficient in word processing, databases, spreadsheets, and graphic applications.Ability to complete assignments with minimal supervision.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyAbility to maintain accurate and confidential recordsStrong organizational, prioritization, communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills are required to achieve the goals of the positionKnowledge of district organizations, operations, administrative policies, goals, and objectivesAbility to effectively interact with all levels of district personnel and the publicBilingual English/Spanish preferred
