University of North Carolina: Assistant Professor in Health Behavior (Statistics or Climate Change)
UNC’s Department of Health Behavior invites applications for two tenure-track faculty positions as Assistant Professor. We are especially interested in applicants with expertise in 1) statistics and quantitative methods broadly defined and 2) behavioral aspects of climate change. We will also consider applicants with strengths in other areas of health behavior research.Faculty teach one core course and may teach an elective every other year. The Department of Health Behavior is ranked by US News and World Reports as the #2 behavioral science department at a school of public health. Faculty hold over $50 million in grant funding. The Department is committed to research and practice that advance social justice. We prefer candidates with prior experience in conducting research that addresses health equity and who have skills in effectively and equitably working with students, faculty, and staff who reflect the diversity of our state.Apply at
