Duties

As a help desk support specialist, you will be supporting a variety of tier 1/2 issues including:User Account Management

Perform password resets and account creations in Active Directory (AD)Manage user permissions and access rightsAssist with Group Policy Object (GPO) implementation and troubleshootingTechnical Support

Provide first-level and second-level support for various Microsoft tools and applicationsTroubleshoot hardware and software issuesEscalate complex issues to appropriate IT teams when necessaryTicket Management

Efficiently use the ticketing system (similar to Remedy or ServiceNow) to track, update, and resolve user issuesPrioritize and manage multiple tickets simultaneouslyMaintain accurate documentation of all support activitiesSystem Administration

Assist with basic system administration tasks related to Microsoft technologiesHelp implement and maintain security protocols and best practicesParticipate in system upgrades and migrations as neededUser Education

Provide clear, patient guidance to end-users on IT-related topicsCreate and maintain user documentation and FAQsConduct basic training sessions on common IT tools and proceduresContinuous Improvement

Stay updated on emerging IT trends and technologiesContribute to the development of IT support processes and proceduresParticipate in team meetings and knowledge-sharing sessionsRequirements

DoD Secret clearanceCompTIA Security+High School Diploma + 2 years' IT experience
