The Aircraft Support Technician will be responsible for executing the interiors maintenance program. Duties will include identifying, repairing and replacing components primarily pertaining to the interiors of the aircraft. The position will be covering a 24-hour operation with a primary responsibility to work the overnight shift. Position will work directly with Qualified Personnel to modify and repair cabin interiors.Responsibilities:

Inspecting, servicing, testing, repairing, modifying, removing and replacing aircraft and cabin componentsPerforming or assisting in the open up/close up, disassembly, lubrication, cleaning, repair and servicing of aircraft and cabin by utilizing appropriate tooling, chemicals and equipmentCompleting required paperwork accurately using procedures set forth in the General Maintenance Manual (GMM)Reviewing and interpreting online aircraft manualsOther duties as assignedMinimum Experience and Qualifications:

High School Diploma or General Education Development Diploma (GED)Basic mechanical aptitude and tool familiarityAbility to work primarily overnight shiftAbility to communicate effectively; in both oral and written communicationAbility to frequently crawl, bend, kneel, climb, stoop and work in confined spacesAbility to work under pressure in a team environmentPossess and maintain a valid Driver License and a driving record from the state of your primary residence that meets JetBlue’s insurance standardsAbility to remain alert to moving vehicles, aircraft and situational awarenessMust be able to acquire and maintain a valid Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) BadgeDepending on location, may need to acquire and maintain a United States Customs ClearanceAvailable for overnight travel (10%)Must pass a pre-employment drug testMust be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is locatedAuthorization to work in the US is required. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorshipPreferred Experience and Qualifications:

The base pay range for this position starts at $24.15 per hour.
