Maintain all safety certifications and complete safety goals in a timely and complete manner.Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science, or an Engineering subject area.Demonstrated passion for scientific inquiry and tenacity.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Shift flexibility depending upon business needs.Preferred QualificationsGraduate degree in Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science, or an Engineering field.Hands-on experience with Surface Analysis techniques – including (but not limited to) X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS), X-ray Reflectivity (XRR), X-ray Diffraction (XRD), Auger Electron Spectroscopy (AES), Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometry (SIMS), Electrical Characterization, Physical/Mechanical Characterization, Thermal Analysis, Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Electron Dispersive Spectroscopy (EDS), and Electron Backscatter Diffraction Spectroscopy (EBSD).Demonstrated proficiency with Data Science, Statistics, and Project Management.Micron is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and is an affirmative action employer.
