The Innovation, Design, and Entrepreneurship Academy (IDEA), Rutgers – New Brunswick invites applications for Lecturer teaching positions during the Fall 2024 semester, September 3, 2024 through January 2, 2025. This position will serve as instructor of record for the IDEA Incubator practicum course. The three-credit course provides undergraduate project teams opportunities to develop and launch sustainable social innovation start-up ventures with the support of faculty and public/private innovation leaders.Under the guidance of the Director of IDEA, the instructor will be responsible for designing and delivering the content of the class, including assessing and grading students’ performance in accordance with University policies and in keeping with the aims of the course. They will hold regular office hours each week in the Hatchery Innovation Studio in Alexander Library.Position Status:

Minimum Education and Experience:

Must hold at least a BA; MA (or MBA) in related field OR at least 10+ years of experience in the entrepreneurial and/or social innovation field.Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Excellent public presentation skills; deep knowledge of design research and entrepreneurship; demonstrated commitment to addressing social issues (e.g., work with non-profits).Instructors are expected to return required paperwork, attend orientations, submit syllabi, respond to student emails, and submit assessments and final grades as per contract.Special Instructions to Applicants
