Faculty members will have opportunities to teach in both the graduate and undergraduate programs, establish a focused program of research, and successfully seek extramural funding. All members of the faculty are expected to engage in professional/college/university service and to provide nursing leadership in Montana and beyond through active participation in professional nursing organizations.Required Qualifications:Doctorate in nursing or related field (ABD nearing completion considered for Assistant Professor).Record of or demonstrable potential for excellence in teaching.Record of excellence or demonstrable potential for excellence in research/scholarship.Eligibility for RN licensure in Montana.Evidence of strong written communication skills.Preferred Qualifications:Teaching experience at the undergraduate and graduate levels.Experience with simulation pedagogy and distance delivery.Demonstrated potential or ability to work collaboratively in interdisciplinary teams.Evidence of service to the nursing profession.Potential to foster and support student and faculty diversity.The Successful Candidate Will:

The successful applicant will be committed to excellence in teaching nursing courses as well as in developing a program of funded research that is relevant to the profession and in disseminating that work through peer-reviewed publications.
