Responsibilities
Develop and enforce EHS policies and programs to comply with regulations.
Create and oversee site-specific safety plans, risk assessments, and emergency response procedures.
Conduct audits and inspections to identify hazards, assess risks, and implement corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with safety, fire, environmental, and security regulations.
Integrate EHS considerations into planning and operations with cross-functional teams.
Manage EHS aspects of plant and equipment throughout their lifecycle.
Obtain and manage EHS permits, ensuring all legal and reporting requirements are met.
Prepare and manage the EHS budget.
Promote a strong safety culture and lead EHS committee meetings.
Provide training on EHS policies and best practices.
Handle emergency management and response, including drills and procedures.
Investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Safety, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
At least 10 years of EHS management experience, preferably in Process Safety Management.
Knowledge of safety, fire protection, environmental protection, and occupational health laws and standards.
Experience with EHS management systems (e.g., ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001).
Professional certifications (e.g., CSP, CIH, CHMM) are a plus.
Experience managing EHS permits and in new energy sectors is preferred.
Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EHS software.
Ability to work full-time with regular in-person attendance and interact professionally with diverse individuals.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $120,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
Schedule:
