Position Summary

The Senior Safety Professional will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive safety programs to ensure the safety and well-being of all employees in our service business, manufacturing facility, and construction sites. This role requires a dynamic individual with top credentials, a college degree, and the creativity to transform and enhance our safety culture.

Role Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and Implement Safety Programs: Design and execute safety programs that comply with OSHA regulations and industry best practices.

Conduct Site Inspections: Regularly inspect construction sites to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Safety Training: Provide ongoing safety training and education to employees and contractors.

Incident Investigation: Lead investigations into accidents and incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.

Safety Culture Leadership: Foster a culture of safety through innovative approaches and employee engagement.

Compliance Monitoring: Ensure all construction activities comply with federal, state, and local safety regulations.

Safety Reporting: Maintain accurate records of safety-related incidents and prepare reports for management review.

Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, supervisors, and employees to address safety concerns and promote a safe working environment.

Required Professional Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Certifications: Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent certification.

Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a safety-related role within the construction industry.

Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to think creatively and implement innovative safety solutions.

Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety standards.

Personality: A proactive and engaging personality with the ability to inspire and motivate others to prioritize safety.
