Commissary Delivery Driver FT

Thank you for your interest in SusieCakes!SusieCakes is looking to hire a FT Delivery Driver for downtown San Francisco! This role will have all benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance offered.Must have availability to work Wednesday-SundayShifts are 3 am- 11:30 am. Must be 21 years of age or older with a valid driver's license.The delivery driver is responsible for the transport of our baked goods and other food/supply items. They will be driving between multiple SusieCakes bakeries, our commissary kitchen, and any guest locations.RESPONSIBILITIES:Operations Management: Manage the delivery calendar activities daily, daily bakery requisitions checklist and adhering to the culinary scheduleEnsure all food is handled and stored according to all required food safety code standardsAssist with kitchen food prep & production of baked goods as neededEnsure delivery cruiser maintenance & service matters are managedEnsure the delivery cruiser is driven in a professional manner consistent with local vehicle lawsQUALIFICATIONS:Valid driver’s license requiredExcellent driving record requiredKnowledgeable of GPS navigation systemsOutstanding customer service focus and skillsHigh degree of professionalismMust be able to safely utilize all bakery equipmentPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Frequent walking, kneeling, bending, and reaching overheadAble to sit for extended periods of timeMust be able to lift, move and carry up to 50 poundsEDUCATION:High school diploma or GEDLANGUAGE SKILLS:Must be able to speak, read, and write EnglishOTHER:Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed
