Assists guests with rental equipment sizing, selection, adjustment & repairJob Relationships:Responsible to: Guests, Rental Shop ManagerEmployees Supervised: NoneInter-Relations: Works closely with Rental Shop Manager, Ski & Snowboard School and Ticket Office to better serve our guestsDuties and Responsibilities:Adjust bindingsInstruct guests on equipment operationRepair guest and rental equipmentMaintain a clean and safe working environmentAdditional duties may be assignedRequirementsQualifications:Certifications: Completion and passing all binding technician exams.Experience: NoneOther Requirements: Ability to relate in a positive manner to guests and co-workersEnvironmental Factor:Continuous lifting of items weighing 40 lbs. or moreExposure to possible hazards associated with machinery and toolsExtended periods of binding adjustment (screwdriver turning)Extended periods of standingGuest facing position.Values Implementation:Always responds to guests’ needsSeeks ways to improve guest serviceTake pride in knowing that 49° North is a quality ski area – The most affordable, friendly, family ski area in the region.THE ABOVE STATEMENTS ARE INTENDED TO DESCRIBE THE GENERAL NATURE OF THE WORK BEING PERFORMED.
