Candidates should possess a master's degree or higher in Chemistry or a closely related field. Masters degree or higher in Chemistry, Physics or a related field.One year or more of successful teaching experience.Have an equity-minded focus, responsiveness, and sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse backgrounds of college students.Successfully foster and support an inclusive educational environment.Department Required Skills
The ability to teach three (3) lecture hours per work in person and (1) lab hour.Must be able to use and work from a course syllabus and maintain grades and record keeping using a Learning Management System (Canvas).Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education
Three years or more of successful teaching analytical and/or general chemistry courses at the college level.Effective classroom management, correspondence with students, faculty, staff and administration.A dedication to providing a positive high-quality learning environment is essential.Experience using Banner and Canvas systems.Valid US Driver's License
