Certification Details ACLS, BLS, NIHSS MUST BE ABLE TO TITRATE CARDIAC DRIPS Job Details A hospital in Arizona is looking for experienced nurses for a travel contract for their MS/Tele float pool. The right candidate will have 2 years of current tele experience, an active BLS, ACLS and AZ license or compact. Travelers are required to pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to starting (2 max attempts) and will take a pass/fail Sim lab on day 1 of orientation. COVID vaccine is required or declination form with supporting documentation from clergy or MD. Job Requirements 2 years of current tele experience Active BLS, ACLS AZ license or compact Must be able to titrate drips Must be able to pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to start (WITH 2 MAX ATTEMPTS), within 48 hours of offer Pass/fail Sim Lab on day one of orientation (study guides will be provided with first day instructions) Travelers will float between all Tele and MedSurg units Floating required to ICU, Cardiac Tele, as well as all Tele units, MedSurg, any & every holding area Must be able to interpret EKGs Schedule Information Contract length: 13 weeks Shifts: 12 hr shifts, 7-7 Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend for Tele B3A and Tele Neuro units 4 weekend shifts per 4 week period for MedSurg C5 and MedSurg B2C units Must work 2 of 3 major holidays Unit Specific Information CV Tele B3A: 32 bed unit, Charge Nurse with no patient assignment, Techs: PCTs - 1 per every 16 patients A3 Neuro: 28 bed unit, Charge Nurse with no patient assignment, Techs: PCTs - 1 per every 16 patients MedSurg C5: 32 beds, Ortho, Surgical, Oncology unit, Charge Nurse with no patient assignment, Nurse Aides: PCTs on days MedSurg B2C: 29 beds unit, Charge Nurse with no patient assignment, Nurse Aides: PCTS on days Additional Details Travelers must clock-out when leaving one campus then clock-in when arrive at the other campus Spectralink phones (call light attached to phone) General MedSurg patients that require tele Amio, Cardizem to titrate down only The distance between the 2 campuses is 9 miles Depending on traffic takes 15 minutes All interstate
