Job Summary

The Enterprise Solutions Analyst oversees the internal workings of Lake-Sumter State College's Enterprise Systems, including the learning management system (Canvas), and acts as a liaison between the technical team and requestors. This role is responsible for data management, process monitoring, project implementation communications and creating thorough documentation for processes in addition to enhancing the user-friendliness and intuitiveness of higher education systems, improving the overall experience for students, faculty, and staff. The position requires strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsible for demonstrating LSSC's core values of Caring, Communicating, Collaborating and Celebrating.Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Serve as the primary Canvas administrator, managing system configuration, updates, and user support.Facilitate projects and requests between the technical team and stakeholders, acting as a middleman to ensure clear communication and efficient execution.Assist in the design and development of intuitive navigation structures, user-friendly interfaces and experiences for enterprise applications used by students, faculty, and staff.Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to visualize design concepts and gather feedback.Manage data loads for third-party systems and automated processes across all enterprise systems, ensuring smooth operations and quick resolution of issues, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing automated processes.Develop and maintain SQL queries for data management and reporting purposes.Create new and update existing internal documentation for enterprise systems and processes including cohesive design systems and style guides for enterprise applications.Write code to support the implementation of new projects and system enhancements.Translate technical jargon into user-friendly language and vice versa.Collaborate with faculty and staff to improve system utilization and efficiency.Coordinate with the TI Division to enhance overall operational and technical efficiency.Assist in the evaluation and implementation of new enterprise systems and integrations.Perform other tasks as needed.Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

In-depth knowledge of learning management systems, particularly Canvas LMS.Strong understanding of data integration processes and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) concepts.Proficiency in SQL and database management.Experience with project management and stakeholder communication.Ability to write and maintain code for process automation and system integrations.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong organizational and time management skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Minimum Qualifications & Education

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in a related field required or four years of directly related full-time work experience.Minimum of three years of experience in computer development work with a project-based focus and experience working with teams.Proficiency in SQL and experience with data management and reporting.
