We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support our manufacturing operations by ensuring that all production equipment and machinery are operating at optimal performance levels. This role is essential to maintaining high production standards and ensuring minimal downtime in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of various types of industrial machinery, particularly within the medical device or pharmaceutical manufacturing sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on all manufacturing equipment, including injection molding machines, assembly equipment, and auxiliary systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to minimize production downtime.
• Work closely with the production team to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions to improve equipment performance.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.
• Install and calibrate new machinery and equipment as needed.
• Follow safety protocols and ensure all equipment complies with safety and quality standards.
• Assist with equipment validation and testing to ensure it meets operational and regulatory requirements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing equipment reliability and efficiency.
• Respond quickly to production requests and emergency maintenance needs during shifts.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a maintenance technician role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Experience with injection molding machines or similar manufacturing equipment is required
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
• Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Familiarity with maintenance software and record-keeping practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Standing, bending, and working in confined spaces for extended periods.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts as necessary.
