Job Title: HR Administrator
Location: Grand Rapids, MI
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Salary Range: $40,000 - $50,000 per year
Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented HR Administrator to join our client's team. The HR Administrator will play a vital role in supporting the HR department and ensuring the smooth operation of all HR functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Employee Onboarding and Offboarding:
- Coordinate and conduct new employee orientations.
- Prepare and process onboarding paperwork.
- Manage the offboarding process
Recruitment Support:
- Post job openings on various job boards and company website.
- Screen resumes and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
- Assist in the preparation of job offer letters and employment contracts.
Employee Relations:
- Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related issues.
- Assist in resolving employee conflicts and addressing employee concerns.
Administrative Support:
- Provide general administrative support to the HR department.
- Schedule meetings and maintain the HR calendar.
Qualifications:
Must-Have:
- High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in an HR administrative role.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
- Experience with HR software (e.g., HRIS systems).
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
