Job Title: Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist
Location: Kalamazoo, MI
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: Up to $25.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (flexible hours available) and hybrid 1x week
About Us: Our client is a nonprofit organization serving over 20 locations in Kalamazoo, including homes, autism and children's programs, and outpatient services.
Responsibilities:
AP Invoicing:
- Full cycle (data entry, processing, three-way matching)
- Handle 30-50 invoices per week across 20 homes
Invoice Entry:
- Primarily manual entry
Check Cutting:
- Process 30-50 checks per week
Check Registry:
- Maintain check registers and assist in implementing an electronic credit card system
Reconciliations:
- Support petty cash management and bank deposits
Qualifications:
Must-Have:
- 1 year of AP experience
Preferred:
- Credit card system experience
- Familiarity with Financial Edge
- Nonprofit or medical/insurance sector experience
