Salary: $80,000 - $85,000 per year
A bit about us:We are seeking a highly experienced Legal Assistant to join our dynamic legal team. This position offers an exceptional opportunity to work closely with our attorneys and clients in a variety of legal matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of legal procedures, terminology, and a proven ability to produce high-quality legal documents and correspondences. With a minimum of 3 years of experience in the legal field, the candidate will have the ability to multitask, meet tight deadlines, and maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.

Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and meetings, and manage schedules and deadlines.
- Draft, proofread, and edit a variety of legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, contracts, and correspondence.
- Conduct legal research and factual investigation, and prepare reports and case summaries.
- Maintain organized case files and manage case document retrieval systems.
- Liaise with clients, witnesses, court officials, and other legal professionals.
- Understand and adhere to legal procedures and terminology, and ensure all documents and proceedings comply with applicable laws and regulations.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, answer phone calls, and manage client inquiries in a professional manner.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Legal Assistant, Legal Secretary, or similar role within the legal industry.
- Proficient in legal writing, with the ability to draft and edit complex legal documents with precision and accuracy.
- Extensive knowledge of legal procedures, court rules, and litigation process.
- Familiarity with legal terminology and ability to communicate effectively with legal professionals and clients.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to providing exceptional client service.
- Proficiency in using legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Paralegal certification or equivalent legal qualification is preferred.
