Position Highlights:Position: OR NurseJob Type: Full-TimeLocation: Community Hospital/Operating RoomResponsibilities:The Registered Nurse will provide patient careExplaining procedures/treatment to patient and family members to alley apprehension and to verify understanding of procedureAssuring needed supplies and equipment are available as needed per surgical procedure; marks charges appropriately and rectifies charges where needed by Buyer.Administering prescribed medications in accordance with approved nursing techniquesContinuously maintaining focus on surgical procedure in assigned roomAssisting with room turn-over, including clean-up of supplies, instruments and equipment returnsDemonstrating clinical expertise and contributes to the advancement of professional perioperative nursing practices by communicating current research and trends related to a specialtyRequirements:Requires current, unrestricted licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Colorado;Bachelor's Degree in nursing (or its equivalent) from accredited Registered Nurse ProgramAt least two (2) years of experience and trainingBLS required upon hireACLS must be obtained within 90 days of hire.Compensation:$37.00 - $42.55 per hour, depending on education and experience.Bonus: $20,000 for RN's who have at least 2 years of nursing experience.
