Base Salary upon conversion: $125-140k

Pay Rate on Contract: $55-65/hr + Benefits from JOBOT

Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced IT Manager (IT Support) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver with exceptional leadership skills and a hands-on approach. You will be responsible for managing our IT infrastructure, including cloud services, IT support, and migration, modernization, and upgrade processes. You will also be tasked with overseeing our Microsoft Office 365 (O365) operations and working closely with our Managed Service Providers (MSPs). This position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee and manage the company's IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security at all times.
  2. Develop and implement IT strategies and systems that align with the company's business objectives.
  3. Lead the migration, modernization, and upgrade of IT systems and processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
  4. Manage cloud operations, including deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure seamless and uninterrupted business operations.
  5. Oversee the implementation and management of O365, including user setup, licensing, and troubleshooting.
  6. Collaborate with MSPs to ensure the delivery of high-quality IT services in line with the company's expectations.
  7. Develop and maintain IT policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies set by upper management.
  8. Analyze the business requirements of all departments to determine their technology needs.
  9. Identify the need for upgrades, configurations or new systems and report to upper management.
  10. Control budget and report on expenditure.
  11. Assist in building relationships with vendors and creating cost-efficient contracts.

Qualifications:

  1. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree would be an added advantage.
  2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management, with a focus on IT support and infrastructure management.
  3. Proven experience in IT infrastructure planning and development.
  4. In-depth understanding of cloud computing, migration, modernization, and upgrade processes.
  5. Expert knowledge of O365 setup, licensing, and troubleshooting.
  6. Strong experience in working with MSPs and managing Managed Services.
  7. Excellent leadership and decision-making skills.
  8. Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to lead and manage large, complex projects.
  9. Strong vendor management and contract negotiation skills.
  10. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and act tactically.
  11. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
