The Management Analyst - Operational will:
Assist with all functions, activities and assignments of the Processing Unit;Process all PE and APPRISS tasks and applications received from prison and county jail inmates thru the Justice-Involved Utilization of the State transitioned Healthcare (JUST Health) and Presumptive Eligibility Medicaid clients;Work with Health Care Authority (HCA) and Medical Assistance Division (MAD) partners such as Children, Youth and Families Department; New Mexico Department of Health; New Mexico Primary Care Association and other Medicaid stakeholders.How does it get done?
The Management Analyst - Operational is responsible for:
Conducting extensive research and analysis;Resolving complex recipient eligibility and enrollment issues requiring the use of multiple systems;Troubleshooting and correcting the suspension, eligibility, and enrollment span for JUST Health and Presumptive Eligibility Medicaid clients;Researching and resolving problem inquires received via e-mail or phone;Providing program support for Medicaid's Presumptive Eligibility and JUST Health programs and any other Medicaid Communication and Education bureau initiatives;Who are the customers?
Medicaid recipients, applicants, stakeholders and the general public.
Ideal Candidate
The Ideal Candidate has:
Experience with the Medicaid program's;Knowledge of Medicaid policies;Experience working with various computer systems.
Minimum Qualification
Associates degree and two (2) years of experience in the procedures of business and management principles involved in strategic planning. Substitutions Apply. See Substitution Table below.

2 years of experience 3 Bachelor's degree or higher

•If Minimum Qualification requires a specific number of "semester hours" in a field (e.g. 6 semester hours in Accounting), applicants MUST have those semester hours in order to meet the minimum qualifications. No substitutions apply for semester hours.
Employment Requirements
Must possess and maintain valid driver's license;Defensive drivers' certification.
Working Conditions
Work is performed in an office setting with exposure to Visual/Video Display Terminal (VDT), extensive personal computer and phone usage.
