The
Senior Accountant
provides support to the Accounting Manager and assists with timely and accurate financial reporting including financial statements, variance analysis, and ad-hoc reports. This role is also a key player in contributing to the overall implementation of the Accounting team's objectives. The Senior Accountant will ensure that procedures and practices promote safety and soundness to mitigate fraud or inaccurate reporting by utilizing independent judgment and professional expertise.

Accounting Manager
Coordinate and participate in the monthly close process including preparing monthly journal entries, completing account reconciliations, and updating various monthly financial reportsPerform monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accountsComplete reconciliations of expense accounts for reviewing financial resultsPrepare and record asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries by compiling and analyzing accounting informationReconcile inter-company receivables and payablesResearch unreconciled balancesDocument accounting and control proceduresAssist with new ASC 606 Revenue Recognition analyses and implementationRecommend financial actions by analyzing accounting optionsAssist with annual auditAssist with the integration of future acquisitionsAnswer accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policies and regulationsOther duties as assignedBachelor's degree in finance or accountingCPA preferred but not required2-4 3-5 years of progressive accounting experiencePrior experience with account reconciliation requiredExperience with Sage 300, TRUX, Tower, QuickBooks, or other large automated accounting system is a plusMust have strong experience with Microsoft Word and Excel (Vlookups, SUMIFs, Pivot Tables)Strong communication and organizational skillsDemonstrated time management skills with the ability to meet deadlinesAbility to work well independently and with a teamEnthusiastic, adaptable, and see challenges as an opportunity to growResults-oriented and able to establish rapport with colleaguesHigh level of personal integrity to inspire confidence, respect, and trustAbility to document finance and accounting processesAble to creatively and innovatively solve problems and resolve issuesWillingness to travel to other locations as needed
