Job Description: Malibu Events, a premier event management company based in Miami, FL, is seeking a dynamic Events Assistant to join our team. The Events Assistant will play a crucial role in the planning and execution of a wide range of events, from corporate functions to weddings and everything in between. Responsibilities:
Assist in the coordination and execution of events, including but not limited to venue selection, vendor management, logistics planning, and on-site support. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their event needs and preferences, ensuring a personalized and memorable experience. Manage event timelines and budgets to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget constraints. Provide administrative support to the events team, including drafting contracts, maintaining databases, and managing correspondence. Collaborate with colleagues to brainstorm creative ideas and innovative solutions to enhance the overall event experience. Assist with post-event activities, such as gathering feedback, analyzing data, and preparing reports for future improvements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field preferred. Prior experience in event planning or coordination, with a strong understanding of event logistics and best practices. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize deadlines effectively. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, vendors, and colleagues. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software (e.g., Eventbrite, Cvent) preferred.
