Summary

Under direction, is responsible for supporting Bexar County Information Technology team; will support the mission of the County, ensuring successful delivery of IT services as defined in the duties and responsibilities. This position will represent the County in a professional and effective manner and establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, County employees, Elected/Appointed Officials, outside organizations and agencies, vendors and the general public. Flexibility to achieve performance excellence in a telework arrangement.Duties and Responsibilities

Serves as subject matter expert, individually motivated and operating with a sense of urgency and personal accountabilityResponsible for assisting the Senior Release Management Administrator Supervisor with cross-organizational efforts required to introduce application and infrastructure changes into the Enterprise County Integrated Justice System (eCIJS) production environmentResponsible for ensuring all eCIJS changes are delivered to users while maintaining the integrity and availability of the existing systemsCommunicate release expectations across all impacted users, following review with the Senior Release Management Administrator Supervisor and Manager of Enterprise Justice SystemsCollaborate with IT delivery teams and partners, often working as part of a distributed teamAssist with preparing system and client-facing documentation, to include communication plans, release notes, meeting minutes, and prioritized issue and enhancement reportsInteracts with software, hardware, and/or professional services vendors, assisting the Senior Release Management Administrator Supervisor as neededServes as a subject matter expert associated with eCIJS environments, versioning, releases, feature enhancements, and bug fixesAnalyzes integration and functional impact of eCIJS application changesEnsures organizational release and change management processes are followed as they relate to the Enterprise County Integrated Justice System (eCIJS)Prepares accurate and detailed configuration and functional specification documents. Managing and creating processes while working independently with limited supervisionDelegates security and access related requests to team members as requiredPerforms other related technology duties and projects as assignedMinimum Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a relevant degree, 3+ years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experienceMust have 3+ years of experience with enterprise applications release managementSkilled in analytical and problem solving; good communication and interpersonal skillsAbility and willingness to learn new systems and technologies quickly; ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, County employees, Elected/Appointed Officials, outside organizations and agencies, vendors and the general publicMust secure and maintain a favorable background investigation and clearanceMust clear a pre-employment physical and a pre-employment drug screen testRequired to be on call as neededMay be required to work more than 40 hours during the workweekMay be required to work weekendsThis position may need to satisfy the requirement of completing and passing an assessment during the employment processPreferred Qualifications:

Experience with Tyler Odyssey and its associated subsystemsExperience with ITIL FrameworkFamiliar with Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) frameworkWorking Environment and Physical Demands:
