Administrative Assistant in a medical settingPay Rate: $25/hr W2 (Benefits - Medical, Dental, Vision)Duration: 3-months to startLocation: Fully on-site in the Anaheim, CA areaWe are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our client's team at a busy medical center. The ideal candidate will assist with various administrative tasks, including credentialing, scheduling, and some accounts payable (AP) duties. A background in medical administration or familiarity with handling sensitive medical information is required. This role requires a well-rounded individual who is flexible and able to take on a wide variety of tasks, up to and possibly including supporting surgical room setup and taking inventory. We are looking for a real self-starter who would like to get their foot in the door with a great medical services company.Key Responsibilities:Perform on-site administrative support, including credentialing and document managementAssist with processing invoices, data entry for ordering/invoicing systems, and scanning documentsHandle basic accounts payable and some accounts receivable (AR) dutiesSchedule appointments and manage calendars for medical staffMaintain accurate records of medical and administrative files, ensuring confidentialitySupport the setup and stocking of surgery rooms, take inventory of supplies, and assist with ordering as neededAssist with general office tasks and be ready to take on additional responsibilities as required to support the smooth operation of the surgical centerQualifications:Previous experience in a medical office or surgical center preferredFamiliarity with medical records and handling sensitive information is a plusProficient with ordering and invoicing systems (previous experience with data entry in similar systems required)Basic knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processesStrong computer skills and ability to learn new systems quicklyExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to be flexible and handle a wide variety of tasks as neededAbility to work on-site on a daily basis
