Job Summary:

The Staff Accountant will review contracts and IT invoices for appropriate coding and accounting guidance treatment.

This Position Will Have Responsibility For:Review and reconcile IT invoices based on hours entered in PPM tool (Planview)Vouch labor invoices against timesheets to ensure they comply with accounting policy (Capital vs. Expense)Review contracts and SOWs for pertinent detailsCreate contracts or purchase requisitions in Ariba based on information in SOWWork with vendors to monitor aging items and to ensure invoices are paid in a timely mannerWork collaboratively with Project Management TeamAssist with internal and external audit requestsHelp ensure compliance with internal control policies and proceduresWork with business partners to obtain information supporting accruals and adjustmentsSkill Required / Desired:

2- 3 years of accounting or relevant experience - RequiredRetail/Beauty industry highly preferred.Proficient in Excel and Word, SAP or Ariba knowledge is a plus - Highly desiredThe ideal candidate will have some Planview and Ariba experienceSolid analytical skills and technical accounting knowledge -RequiredSelf-starter with willingness to work hands-on - RequiredAbility to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment - RequiredEducation requirement:

BS degree in Accounting or Finance and CPA a plus - Highly desired
