The CareSource Intern is responsible for providing support on special projects, initiatives, and specific activities which will vary by assignment. We offer a 12-week, paid summer internship program for college students who want to separate themselves from the pack. This is an exciting opportunity to obtain real-world experience and prepare yourself for your career after college. Assist in accounting and reporting areas by completing tasks such as posting transactions in the accounting system and performing detailed account reconciliationsComplete various reconciliations, billings, and payments in the accounting area including reinsurance and pharmacy benefitsAssist with various state and federal regulatory reporting responsibilities as requestedProvide analysis and reports to management as requestedPerform other duties/ad hoc tasks as assignedEducation and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent is requiredCurrent college / university undergraduate or graduate student in an accredited degree program is requiredCompetencies, Knowledge and Skills:
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite to include Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPointGood written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work independently and within a team environmentEffective listening and critical thinking skillsDependable, flexible and ability to maintain confidential informationEffective problem-solving skills with attention to detailLicensure and Certification:
