Job Summary:

The Contract System Analyst I is responsible for providing technical support and managing the databases and systems used for provider contracting. The Contract System Analyst I will collaborate with the contracting team to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth operations across all platforms.

Essential Functions:Manage and maintain contracting databases, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all systemsAssist in the setup, configuration, and management of contract what-if scenariosCollaborate with IT and analytics teams to ensure databases are optimized for performanceMonitor dashboard performance and proactively identify areas for improvement or issues that need addressingAssist with data imports, exports, and migrations, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal system downtimePerform regular data audits and system tests to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal and external standardsSupport the development and documentation of workflows, processes, and procedures related to contracting systemsCollaborate with stakeholders to implement new features or updatesProvide training and technical guidance to team members on system usage and best practicesAssist in troubleshooting contract-related issues, identifying root causes, and recommending solutionsPerform any additional tasks or system-related duties as assignedEducation and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent years of relevant work experience is requiredDatabase management knowledge is preferredProvider contracting or configuration experience is preferredManaged care or healthcare experience is preferredCompetencies, Knowledge, and Skills:

Basic proficiency with SQL and the ability to query, update, and manage databasesFamiliarity with database management and system administration best practicesBasic knowledge of scripting languages (Python, R, or similar) for automating repetitive tasks or data processingExperience with Microsoft Excel for managing data imports/exports and data analysisTechnical troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve system and data issuesAbility to work collaboratively with IT, analytics, and contracting teams to address system-related needsExcellent attention to detail and organizational skills, especially when working with large datasetsAbility to communicate technical issues and solutions clearly to non-technical team membersBasic knowledge of data governance and compliance requirements (HIPAA or similar) is a plusAbility to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and technologiesLicensure and Certification:
