Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 07:00-19:00 Guaranteed Hours: Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Registered Nurse (RN) Licensure Certifications: NRP required, STABLE preferred Must-Have: - NRP Certification Job Description: - Work in a 42-bed NICU with a diverse team of 70 staff members.- Day and night shifts include 1 charge nurse, 10-15 RNs, and 1 PCT per shift.- Patient ratios are 1-3 per nurse for Level 3 acuity, and 3-4 per nurse for Level 2.- Utilize equipment such as isolettes, OMNI beds, and phototherapy units.- Use EMR systems Meditech and CPN for data management and care documentation.- Perform procedures including IV starts and PICC insertions.- Ideal candidates are self-motivated team players.- May float to the newborn nursery as needed.- Dress code requires royal blue scrubs.- Must work at least 4 weekend shifts per schedule, with occasional on-call duties.- Support and resources available on the unit for guidance and assistance.
