Travel Nurse RN - Telemetry in Redding, CA

**Must-Have:**- 2-3 years' experience in neuro telemetry- Ability to read and interpret telemetry- Knowledge and understanding of HCAHPS and core measures- Self-motivation and team orientation

**Job Description:**

- Work on a busy neuro telemetry unit with 22 beds- Handle a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1 to 3-4- Collaborate with one charge nurse overseeing 74 beds across three units- Work alongside 3 nurse aides who cover the three units- Participate in a rotation with 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week schedule- Work in navy scrubs, utilizing Phillips telemetry system- Take a dysrhythmia exam to demonstrate proficiency- Collaborate with in-house hospitalists or intensivists- Support with 24/7 respiratory therapy and pharmacy services- Engage in self-scheduling primarily planned 2-3 weeks initially, targeting a 9-week schedule- Float to IMCU or 2 Central as needed, covering all telemetry units- Receive floor-specific orientation on the unit- Care for patients with common diagnoses such as post-op CABG, surgical thoracic, stroke, and cardiac issues- Emphasize patient experience and align with mission and values- The hospital may cancel up to 3 times per contract, either part or full shift, with potential pay for the full shift despite cancellation- Utilize the Cerner charting system
