1st Shift 6:00 am - 4:30 pm Monday - Thursday

Overview : Maintains quality standards by approving incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products; recording quality results
Job Functions:Measure and visually inspect parts to verify conformance to customer requirementsApproves incoming materials by confirming specificationsApproves in-process production by confirming specificationsApproves finished products by confirming specificationsContributes to root cause investigations related to quality issuesInitiate non-conformance reportsCommunicates required adjustments to production supervisorDocuments inspection results by completing associated reports and logsKeeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions, verifying calibration and notifying supervisor of needed repairsUpdates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publicationsAssists with the implementation, interpretation, and maintenance of the ISO9001 quality assurance standardsParticipates in internal audits as necessaryAll other duties as assignedQualifications:
Associate degree or equivalent from two year college or technical school and two years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Experience analyzing information, documentation Skills, promoting process improvement, managing processes, manufacturing methods and procedures, supports innovationAbility to read blueprints, tape measures, calipers, and micrometers requiredFamiliar with interpreting Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerance preferredFamiliar with Virtek Laser CMMProficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
