Day shift Monday - Friday 6:00 am to 4:30 pm.

Overview:
As a materials clerk for Merrill: A Keel Company, you will be responsible for coordinating and expediting the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies throughout the facility utilizing production and shipping schedules. This position is focused heavily on the transportation of material throughout the facility with forklifts and cranes, and is crucial in keeping production schedules on track by keeping machining centers supplied with material, moving finished pieces for transport, and will work closely with shipping and receiving to achieve these goals in a safe, effective, and timely manner.
Job Functions:Assist materials team as needed with the flow of product throughout plant using fork lifts, cranes, and rigging equipment.Reviews production schedules and related information and confers with department supervisors to determine material requirements to identify overdue materials and to track material.Monitors materials and schedules for data integrity.Responsible for the safety of team members through the responsible use of transportation equipment within the facility.Qualifications:
High school diploma or GEDMinimum of one (1) year in a manufacturing environmentMust be able to safely and accurately operate a forklift, overhead cranes, jib cranes, and rigging equipment.Competent computer skills, especially with ERP systems and Microsoft Office SuiteExceptional organizational and communication skills.Ability to handle multiple projects, priorities and deadlines.Must be able to work independently, stay on task, and utilize feedback to change priorities as needed.
