JOB OVERVIEW

The Senior Director, Fleet Electrification Sales will drive the growth of ForeFront Power’s fleet electrification infrastructure sales. You will directly lead the growth of our client portfolios and project pipelines. The Sales organization will rely on you to execute market entry strategies and pursue new opportunities for growth in our rapidly expanding and evolving markets. You will use your analytic and problem-solving skills to develop persuasive value propositions for prospective clients and sound economic fundamentals for investors. Working collaboratively with a team of development, engineering, legal, and project finance professionals, you will skillfully influence the decision makers of our current and future clients in conjunction with the company’s initiatives. As a leader, this position will guide the products and engagements we offer to our current and future clients.

JOB LOCATION AND REPORTING TO

The position is based remotely or in our San Francisco or New York City office. The Senior Director, Fleet Electrification Sales reports to the Chief Commercial Officer and works closely with the Development, Engineering, Legal, Product Management, and Project Finance teams.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Own sales performance in target markets nationwide.

Manage individual and team efforts to meet and exceed quota.

Contribute to the ongoing design and delivery of ForeFront Power's fleet electrification infrastructure services.

Primary responsibility for customer sales and client retention.

Assist marketing in the segmentation, targeting, and positioning of prospective customer messaging to improve lead generation efforts.

Drive the design of standardized and user-friendly reports for customers.

Assess economic viability of project proposals and propose ways to increase project revenue streams or reduce costs.

Interface closely with finance, development, engineering, legal, product management, and management to help guide projects forward quickly and efficiently.

Evaluate emerging regulatory rulings and determine potential for market creation.

Provide management with regular updates and sales pipeline, forecasting, and progress.

Manage incoming leads and sales pipeline to assess opportunities quickly and efficiently.

Understand customer savings propositions, including total cost of ownership, route data, charger recommendations, and energy data analysis.

Lead contract negotiations.

Skillfully collaborate with all functional groups to maintain (and increase where possible) deal velocity.

Partner with the management team to grow the business, including recruiting, hiring, and managing a team.

QUALIFICATIONS

Desire to work in a leading company in the renewable energy field.

Bachelor's degree required.

5+ years of direct sales experience with a proven history of exceeding sales targets.

Fleet electrification and/or renewable energy industry experience needed, especially experience selling financed fleet electrification infrastructure services and/or Energy Services Agreements for on-site solar and storage products.

Excellent communication skills in both oral and written English.

Strong insight development and value proposition definition skills.

Ability to effectively operate with high energy and flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment.

Creativity and critical thinking skills to tackle a variety of challenges from the industry level to client-specific.

Self-motivated and strong work ethic with the ability to proactively manage diverse relationships and multiple, complex projects simultaneously.

Advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This position generally requires prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Domestic travel is required. The Head of Fleet Electrification Sales should be comfortable traveling to various sites including construction sites and being around heavy equipment.

REMUNERATION
