As a
Systems Administrator
,
you will:

Systems Administrator includes:
Installation, support, and maintenance of DTOC mission network servers, computer equipment and connection of peripherals.Configure software, modify software configuration, and perform basic configuration management IAW with all STIGs and other Cybersecurity requirements to include JSIG.Plan for and respond to service outages and other problems.Work as part of project team in design and integration of OTTI technologies and DTOC solutions to meet mission requirements.Provide software application assistance for commonly used office automation applications and M&S tools.Support HBSS And SIEM solutions and continuous monitoring.Implement client workstations software patches, security fixes and service releases.Identify, analyze, and document long range requirements.Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree and five (5) to seven (7) years of experience; a combination of education and experience can be used in lieu of degreeSECRET clearanceMust maintain a Security + certificationCertifiable knowledge of PC operations in Linux and Windows NT based operating systemsExperience configuring software, modifying software configuration and performing basic configuration management IAW with all STIGs and other Cybersecurity requirementsExperience with operating systems and relational database management systems such as SQL ServerExperience managing Storage Arrays, file and Virtual Machine backupsExperience updating and patching Windows and Linux Operating Systems and software applications in an off-line environment.Experience building and updating Virtual Desktop Interface technologies, VMware, MS Windows and Linux, physical computers, virtual machines and working LAN experienceExperience analyzing network traffic and troubleshooting DIS/HLA packets using Wireshark, DPA, or similar software toolsMinimum three (3) years of employment experience of computer/networking related work within the past three (5) yearsA minimum of two must have 2 years or more of Linux administrator experience, and/or Certified Linux admin trainingDISA ACAS Training/CertifiedA minimum of two must have general working knowledge of Citrix and Powershell and ScriptingFounded in 1975, AMERICAN SYSTEMS is one of the largest employee-owned companies in the United States.
