Description
Under the general direction of the designated supervisor, perform the routine duties of supporting and maintaining the technology systems of the company, while providing support for current and future projects. This includes the core system and ancillary systems that support the Credit Union's business operations as well as the respective interfaces, hardware, and peripheral components that allow for business day to day operations. This includes, but is not limited to, servers, PC and printer devices, telephone communication systems, and future technologies as they are implemented. Coordination of system functions must be in compliance with company's policies and procedures and when required, government regulations.

Perform system and workflow analysis to improve productivity and alleviate bottlenecks.Must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.Assist with the planning and implementation of special projects in company operations.Assist with core and ancillary systems, including but not limited to: Maintaining system permissions, parameters, and configurations. Maintaining user records and conducting periodic reviews of system users, permissions, and configurations. Helping to ensure system configuration is in line with company policy, guidelines, procedures, and processes. Monitoring of system reports, including batch reports that may be generated at different frequences, such as daily, weekly, monthly. Maintaining proper internal controls and working with Management and Compliance to ensure controls are properly enforced and adhered to.Uses technical expertise to collaborate with IT, as well as with other interfacing system administrators to ensure system interfaces are properly designed and consistent with team and organizational goals.Assist the IT Department as needed to provide the Credit Union with support for systems, hardware, and peripherals. Assist with creation, moving, and termination of users.Assist with audits and examinations, including but not limited to, providing system information, outlining internal system controls, and completion of requested reports.Assist with maintaining and creation of system-generated letters, notice, bills, coupon, and statements.Assist with the running of system jobs and assist with the creation and maintaining of reports.Provide ongoing support for the core and ancillary systems, as well as for end users, in a timely manner. This includes and is not limited to password resets, login issues, system changes, reports, troubleshooting, customizations, research, enhancements, and additional features.Work with staff to resolve system related issues/problems; report any system related issues/problems and make recommendations for resolution.Contact vendors as needed to aid with research, projects, and support, while also opening support cases and escalating as needed depending on the severity of the issue at hand.
Knowledge and Skills
Experience:
Prior banking experience and 1+ year in core system administration is strongly preferred.
Education/Certifications/Licenses:
Associates degree or completion of a relevant technical/trade school program. SQL and/or Microsoft Report Builder experience are a plus.
Interpersonal Skills:
All departments will receive support from and work with this individual, so good interpersonal skills, a professional attitude, and friendly demeanor are a must.
Salary Description
Range: $55,000-70,000 based on experience
