We are searching for a Permanent Associate Attorney to join our esteemed law firm. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and talented lawyer who is passionate about trial law and eager to make a significant impact in our organization. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2+ years of experience in trial law, demonstrating a solid understanding of litigation strategies, court proceedings, and legal guidelines.

Responsibilities

As a Permanent Associate Attorney, your duties will include but are not limited to:

  1. Representing our clients in court and presenting evidence to defend clients or argue against the opposition.
  2. Conducting research on legal issues and drafting legal documents, including briefs, appeals, wills, contracts, and real estate documents.
  3. Advising clients on their legal rights and obligations.
  4. Negotiating settlements in civil disputes to avoid trial when necessary.
  5. Collaborating with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and prepare for trials.
  6. Participating in depositions, arbitrations, mediations, and hearings.
  7. Ensuring all legal actions in the trial are ethical and within the law.
  8. Keeping updated with the latest legal trends and regulations to enhance the quality of our legal services.

Qualifications

  1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  2. A current license to practice law.
  3. 2+ years of experience as a trial lawyer, demonstrating a proven track record in court trials.
  4. Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to present complex legal arguments clearly and persuasively.
  5. Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to handle large amounts of data, identify critical issues, and provide useful legal insights.
  6. High ethical standards and professionalism, respecting confidentiality and demonstrating integrity in all actions.
  7. Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple cases simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
  8. Proficient in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
