We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Associate Attorney to join our esteemed legal team. As a critical part of our organization, you will be responsible for representing our clients in complex civil litigation matters, demonstrating exceptional knowledge and expertise in court proceedings. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on high-profile cases and make a significant impact in our clients' lives.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Associate Attorney, your core responsibilities will include:

  1. Representing clients in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend clients in civil litigation.
  2. Preparing and drafting legal documents, such as pleadings, discovery requests and responses, motions, and briefs.
  3. Conducting legal research and analysis to advise clients or to prepare cases.
  4. Examining legal data to determine advisability of defending or prosecuting a lawsuit.
  5. Negotiating settlements of civil disputes in a manner that best serves the interests of the client.
  6. Participating in depositions, mediations, and arbitration hearings.
  7. Collaborating with senior attorneys to develop legal strategies.
  8. Maintaining a high level of professionalism and ethical standards as prescribed by law or the state bar.
  9. Keeping up-to-date with changes in the law and informing colleagues and clients of these changes.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate should possess:

  1. A Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
  2. A license to practice law in the applicable jurisdiction.
  3. A minimum of 3 years of experience in civil litigation, with a proven track record of representing clients in court.
  4. Exceptional analytical skills, with a strong ability to think strategically and rapidly analyze and interpret legal documents.
  5. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting, as well as independently when necessary.
  6. Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to advocate persuasively.
  7. Strong negotiation skills, with a proven ability to resolve matters favorably for clients.
  8. The ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines.
  9. A high level of professionalism and adherence to strict ethical standards.
  10. Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
