Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Controller to join our team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead and manage our financial operations, ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of all financial functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's financial management, including corporate accounting, financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Controller, you will play a critical role in shaping the financial future of our company. Your key responsibilities will include:

1. Overseeing the operations of the accounting department, including the design of an organizational structure adequate for achieving the department's goals and objectives.
2. Managing the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring the timely and accurate reporting of all monthly financial information.
3. Overseeing the company's cash flow management, predicting cash flow trends and making necessary adjustments.
4. Coordinating the preparation of the corporate annual report and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
5. Coordinating the provision of information to external auditors for the annual audit.
6. Monitoring debt levels and compliance with debt covenants.
7. Collaborating with the management team to establish and implement financial and operational strategies.
8. Evaluating the effectiveness of accounting software and supporting database, as needed.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Controller role should possess the following qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position.
3. Proven experience with month-end close, cash flow management, and other related financial processes.
4. Strong knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
5. Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems.
6. Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
7. Excellent leadership skills with a proven track record of managing a team.
8. Strong oral and written communication skills.
9. High attention to detail and accuracy.
10. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
