Position Title: Public Works DirectorReports to: Town AdministratorClassification: Full-time, Non-exemptCompensation: $80,000 - $90,000 annuallyJob Description:The Town of Silverton is seeking a dedicated Public Works Director to oversee the operations of the Public Works Department. This leadership position is responsible for managing all facets of public works, including water diversion, treatment and distribution systems, wastewater collection and treatment, street maintenance, and the sanitary transfer station. The Director will supervise a team of skilled employees and ensure that all departmental activities align with the Towns goals and standards.
Key responsibilities include the management of utility planning, funding, and construction projects, as well as the maintenance of departmental equipment and facilities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational and managerial skills, ensuring compliance with Public Improvement Development Standards while advising the Town Administrator and Board on departmental matters.
