We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to join our team in the Construction industry. This is a unique opportunity to apply your skills and expertise in managing diverse projects in the realm of parks, recreation, water, and wastewater. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our projects, from initial planning to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standards of quality. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, challenging environment and has a passion for creating and maintaining vital community infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee all stages of project life cycle, including initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, control and closure.
  2. Develop comprehensive project plans and coordinate with team members to ensure on-time completion.
  3. Manage the budget, timeline, resources, and risks of each project, ensuring that projects are delivered within scope and budget.
  4. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction specialists, ensuring all parties are aligned and working towards common goals.
  5. Maintain constant communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, potential risks and mitigation strategies.
  6. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and quality standards, promoting a culture of safety and excellence across all projects.
  7. Conduct post-project evaluations to determine areas for improvement and implement changes where necessary.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management within the construction industry, with specific experience in parks, recreation, water, and wastewater projects.
  3. Proven track record of successfully managing projects from start to finish, demonstrating excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  4. Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and industry trends.
  5. Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
  6. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and team members.
  7. Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite.
  8. PMP or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
