We are seeking a dynamic Project Manager to join our team in the thriving Construction industry. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional with a background in residential construction and handyman services to oversee and manage multiple construction projects from conception to completion.
Responsibilities:
As the Project Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Leading and managing all aspects of construction projects, including budgeting, scheduling, planning, and execution.
- Coordinating and directing construction workers and subcontractors to ensure quality standards, timelines, and budget constraints are met.
- Reviewing the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
- Overseeing all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
- Liaising with clients, architects, construction workers, engineers, and inspectors to ensure the project aligns with the client's vision and meets all regulatory requirements.
- Analyzing, managing, and mitigating risks, and solving any problems that may arise.
- Ensuring the construction project is completed on time and within budget, and that it meets or exceeds expectations.
- Preparing internal and external reports pertaining to job status and progress.
- Planning ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
- Ensuring all legal requirements, building and safety codes, safety inspections, city guidelines, and local and state regulations are met.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a project management role within the construction industry, specifically residential construction.
- Proven experience as a handyman with a broad range of construction skills.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, means, and methods.
- Understanding of construction management processes, including budgeting, project coordination, quality control, and safety management.
- Proficiency in construction project management software.
- Excellent knowledge of relevant rules, regulations, quality standards, and building codes.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to plan and see the “big picture” while also focusing on the details.
- Competent in conflict and crisis management.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- A team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
