Our client in the technology industry is seeking a Windows System Administrator to join their team. As a Windows System Administrator, you will be part of the IT department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong Windows OS knowledge, hands-on debug experience, and AI knowledge (beneficial, but not mandatory ; strong Windows OS and debug experience) which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Windows System Administrator

What's the Job?
Install device images on all self-host devices (10-150 units).
Communicate/interface with the Windows OS team and identify and retrieve the early builds of Windows OS as a base.
Communicate with platform software leads and identify collection of drivers, BIOS and applications that need to be added to device image.
Use tools like DISM and WinPE to create and manipulate custom OS images.
Understand how to manage and extract the Windows Driver Store to migrate and install drivers.
Generate basic scripts in PowerShell.
Understand diskpart and storage device provisioning.
Download and run Microsoft ADK for testing.
Run ad hoc testing to reproduce failure scenarios.
Prep devices for demos (special HW configurations, SW and test loads).
Campus troubleshooting, delivering and replacing test devices.
Assemble computers, power supplies, memory, processors and other components and get device running.
Learn/know how to use dediprog to flash SPI components.
What's Needed?
Bachelor's degree in engineering would be a nice to have but not a must have.
Hands-on experience in DISM, WinPE, scripting, creating OS images. Working in the lab environment setting up the laptops, systems with/without chassis, Bios/FW/driver updates, running test plan (video/audio/network/USB) and issue troubleshooting.
Strong Windows OS knowledge and hands-on debug experience.
