Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: MS/Tele, Neuro Spine Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Rotating 3x12-Hour Shifts (Day 06:30 - 19:00; Night 18:30 - 07:00) Guaranteed Hours: Information not provided Experience: Minimum 2 years required, with 1 prior travel assignment License: Must have DC license prior to start date Certifications: BLS required; BSN preferred Must-Have: Flexibility to work rotating day/night shifts Job Description: - Work in a short-term acute care, teaching hospital with 402 total staffed beds. - Provide care in MS/Tele/Neuro unit. - Patient ratio is 1:4 or 1:5, required to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity levels. - Engage in telemetry monitoring and patient care. - Rotating shifts may vary between days and nights within the same week, or working several weeks of days followed by several weeks of nights. - Must be prepared to work with possibly coming into contact with Covid-19 patients. - Scrubs are not provided; any color allowed without other hospital logos. - Complete orientation and modules, with orientation being 28 hours and up to 16 hours for modules, based on specialty. - Facility requires that all employees have the flu vaccine with no exemptions. Please ensure all requests for time off are included upon applying, and note that no time off is allowed during the first two weeks of the assignment.
