For start dates 4+ weeks out, must have started the Indiana/compact licensing process. Certifications: Indicate certifications based on unit requirements Must-Have: Willingness to take charge when asked Job Description: - Travel nurses are required to float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals.- Staffing ratios are 1:5/6.- Orientation consists of 12 hours.- COVID-19 vaccine is not required.- Flu vaccine requirement is unknown.- University of the traveler's graduation must be accredited by ACEN or CCNE.- Travelers cannot be local residents for MS, MS Tele, PCU, ICU, and ER positions.- 2 supervisor references are required.- Candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays.- Must be open to working with diverse teams and in various hospital settings. Additional Notes: - Any former permanent or PRN employees must be away for 12 months before applying as a traveler.- Candidates are expected to comply with background policy requirements.
