401k + Company MatchJob DetailsJob Details:We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Permanent Quality Inspector to join our dynamic team in the Aerospace industry. This position involves ensuring the quality and reliability of our manufacturing processes and outputs, by performing a variety of inspections and tests. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to ensuring that our products meet all necessary standards and specifications.Responsibilities: Conduct first piece/first article inspections to verify conformance to specifications and standards. Perform in-process inspections to ensure ongoing compliance and to identify any issues or defects that may arise during the manufacturing process. Use a variety of inspection tools and equipment to measure and test products. Interpret and apply AS9102, GD&T and other relevant standards and regulations. Document inspection results by completing reports, summarizing re-works and wastes, and inputting data into quality database. Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations. Collaborate with production team to address and resolve quality issues, improve processes and ensure customer satisfaction. Provide technical support and advice to other team members as needed. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting changes to enhance quality and efficiency.Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a quality inspection role within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in first piece/first article inspection and in-process inspection. Solid understanding and experience with AS9102 and GD&T. Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. Proficient in the use of various inspection tools and equipment. Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate quality issues and solutions to team members at all levels. A commitment to upholding the highest quality standards. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of safety standards and compliance requirements.
