Shifts & Scheduling: 0630-1900, 1830-0700 // Self scheduling, can accommodate most schedule requestsWeekend Requirements: Every third weekend, but could be up to every other based on unit needHoliday Requirements: 1 major, 1 minorFloating Requirements: Will float to Postpartum, occasional float to the house to be a "sitter"Number of shifts of unit/department specific orientation: 2-3 shiftsUnit Specific Information
- Is there a Charge Nurse on each shift? Does the charge nurse take an assignment?: Charge on Both Shifts- Are there nurse aids/surgical techs on this unit? Duties?: 2 OBTs per shift- OB/Neonatologist in house 24/7?: 3 residents and 1 supervising MD on the floor at all times- Anesthesia in house 24/7?: CRNAs on the unit 24/7- RT Equipment (Vents, Cpap, BiPap, High Flow, etc.) Are RNs required to do anything with these besides trouble shoot?: Nasal cannula- Are there Tele/Monitor Techs on this unit? Are RNs required to read their own strips? What brand are the tele monitors?: Tele in recovery after a c-section- EFM System: Obix- Scrub Color/Dress code: Surgical scrubs providedAdditional Details
